[...] The system itself is awesome if you dont have critical ears.
The good: The receiver is awesome, many input choices and the network stuff is revolutionary. front, center and sorround speakers are clear and reproduce great sound, the physical look of the system is beautiful and fit my furniture great.
The bad: the subwoofer bottom out real quick when u turnup the receiver, the DVD is a piece of garbage for lack of a better word. It did not play Divx, not upconverting and did not have HDMI connection (one can pickup a similar DVD for less than $40). I had to replace the DVD player with the oppo 981 and the subwoofer with Velodyne DPS12
Conclusion: The system is great for people that want basic good looking home theater system with network capability. I think it is overpriced [...]

I couldn't find any reviews on this unit. I was worried that no-one else owned it because it sucked or something along those lines. I was drawn to this unit because of the Ethernet connection. I thought how coold would that be to be able to set my computer up as a server and play movies and songs I've downloaded. Well I must say it is AWESOME!!!!! When you switch to the network from the remote a graphical user interface comes up on the TV and allows you to select which movie or song you want to play. I bought a 100 ft ethernet cable and ran it downstairs and then up to behind the TV and it allows me to listen to all of my MP3s and I can watch Divx movies ive downloaded. You can use a wireless setup if you chose and I might switch over to that as I already have a wireless network setup in my house. Im going to compile a massive collection of movies and bascially have them all on demand, Going to need to get a new 500gb drive I think. There is no lag in time it takes to play the movie even when files are over 1gb. So the ethernet thing works great. On to the sound. Im not an audio junkie but I have owned some nice equipment in the past. My impression so far is this is more than good enough for 95% of the population. If you are the kind of person who spends 2k on a home theater system then this will probably be a let down for you, unless your all about the ethernet port like me. I will recommend this to everyone I know. It was very easy to set up and the construction of the speakers is impressive. I am very impressed with this equipment. I cant beleive no other companies are putting the ethernet port on there recievers. Deffinately recomended. This exact system was WAY WAY WAY more expensive when it came out last year.
